  • July 8 - Dominique Jean Larrey - French Surgeon. Inventor of the first ambulance.[1]
  • September 6 - John Dalton - English chemist, famous for his research into his own color blindness. His theories were eventually disproven but Daltonism remains a common term for the condition.
