- March 20 - Sir William Richard Gowers - British neurologist. Gowers is known for Gower's Sign, a clinical sign of muscular dystrophy in children.
- March 27 - Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen - German physicist. Röntgen was the first to (accidentally) discover X-Rays.[1]
