Births

  • March 9 - Granville Redmond - Deaf Painter and Artist. One of California's leading landscape painters and a close friend of Charlie Chaplin, who he taught sign language to. Redmond had a few small roles in Chaplin's movies which worked at the time because films were silent.[2]
