  • 2007 - Ossur CEO, Jon Sigurdsson, sends a letter to President of IAAF to show support for Oscar Pistorius, a runner and double-amputee looking to compete in the Olympics.[1]

  • 1830 - Dr. Mason Fitch Cogswell - Deaf advocate. First deaf father of a deaf child to advocate for quality education of deaf children in America. One of the three co-founders of the American School for the Deaf.[2]
