Deaths
- 1924 - Woodrow Wilson - U.S. President. Wilson had a stroke that paralyzed his left side and caused significant brain damage in 1919. He was the first president to be buried in the Nation's capital.[1]
- 1947 - Charles A. Browne - American agricultural chemist. Browne was the 4th Commissioner for the FDA.[2]
