  • 2002 - The court decision from Chevron v. Echazabal affirmed the right of employers to refuse hiring someone if the work poses a danger to that person’s health.[1]


Deaths

  • 2004 - Ray Charles Robinson - American musician famous for pop hits like "Georgia On My Mind" (our state song), "Hit the Road, Jack," and "I Can't Stop Loving You." He became blind as a child.[2]
