Light switch extenders

From ATWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Light switch extenders are devices that allow people of shorter stature or those in a wheelchair or other seating device to operate a light switch. They involve a rod that is attached to a toggle light switch with a handle on the end that allows the person to turn a light on or off using a push or pull motion.

Children

Light switch extenders are used by children as well as people with disabilities. They can be used to teach independence and responsibility.

Glow-in-the-dark

Some extenders glow in the dark, making the switch easier to use at night.
