  • 2011 - The EEOC's final regulations for the ADA Amendments Act of 2008 (ADAAA) are published. It clarifies what constutues a disability under the ADA and calls for interpretation in favor of broad coverage of individuals.[1]


Deaths

  • 1738 - Turlough O'Carolan - Irish musician and composer. Blind. He is considered by many to be Ireland's national composer. He is also one of the last harpist-composers in Irish history.[2]
