Births
- 1831 - Johann Friedrich Horner - Ophthalmologist, first to describe eye disorder (small pupil, droopy eyelid) later to be called "Horner's syndrome".
- 1845 - Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen - German physicist. Röntgen was the first to (accidentally) discover X-Rays.[1]
