Ryan Kocer

Ryan Kocer is an amputee-wrestler from South Dakota.

Kocer was a three-time state champion wrestler at Wagner High School in South Dakota and a member of his high school's Red Raiders football team when he had an accident with his Ford F-250.^[1] The accident crushed his right tibia and left him without his left leg.^[1] Within months, Kocer was back on the mat helping his team capture the state dual title.^[1] On July 16, 2008, Kocer won the 2008 Espy for Best Male Athlete with a Disability.^[2]
