  • 2007 - The Amazing Race 10 debuts in the U.S. with the first ever amputee competitor, Sarah Reinertsen, and her team mate, Peter Harsch.[2]


Births

  • 1761 - Dr. Mason Fitch Cogswell - Deaf advocate. First deaf father of a deaf child to advocate for quality education of deaf children in America. One of the three co-founders of the American School for the Deaf.[3]
