  • 2007 - President George W. Bush signs into law the Food and Drug Administration Amendments Act of 2007, reauthorizing and expanding the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA), Medical Device User Fee and Modernization Act (MDUFMA), Best Pharmaceuticals for Children Act (BPCA) and the Pediatric Research Equity Act (PREA).[1]

  • 1917 - Benjamin A. Rubin - Microbiologist, inventor of the vaccination needle which helped him eradicate smallpox.[2]
