Workforce Investment Act of 1998

The purpose of the Workforce Investment Act of 1998, also known as Public Law 105-220, is to train underserved and underemployed populations, such as people with disabilities, for entry into the workforce. It was signed by President William J. Clinton on August 7, 1998.
